Something about the GTAVLauncher.exe

So, I am with that problem "GTAV exited unexpectedly..." since I've installed the game in 04/13.
I've tried all the solutions I've found so far with no success.

The last thing I did was to replace the GTAVLauncher.exe with other one which a friend sent to me.
When I did that, I have received a different problem message: "The Rockstar UPDATE SERVICE is unavailable (code 2)".

So I replaced the GTAVLauncher again with the original file, and now I am having the same original problem "GTAV exited unexpectedly...".

So, I am thinking that the problem is something about this file. Anyone is having a problem like this and know a solution?

General question related to the issue: Does the launcher save crash logs somewhere? I feel like this would aid in solving the issues.

I'm not sure, do you know how could I look for a crash log? It doesn't show with the error message, maybe I can find it somewhere else?

You can find the launcher logs in Documents\Rockstar Games\GTA V\launcher.log.

Not sure if this gives enough info about the problem. Paste your launcher.log here or use a service like Pastebin.

Also, do you get any info from Windows error reporting?

Do you have Bullguard virus checker? I do and my launcher not working ws related to that and having to disable the checker, uncheck a box in it and then re enabling.....

No Bullgard virus checker. But I am running the AVG antivirus. I will try to disable it and run the game.
If it doesn't work I will paste the error log here.

Mine was something to do with the virus checker blocking the launcher, so i disabled, started launcher and it worked, i then re enabled virus checker and it works after that without having to disable it.

I wouldnt advise running anything without a virus checker, its ok to disable to see if thats the problem, but the re enable just in case :)

Edit: Googled the error code, some people are reporting that having your controller plugged in while starting the game makes it crash. Disconnect any controllers and try restarting.

error code 7 in the crashlog of the log made by the launcher or gta v check both all logs. lookk for that code 7- if i get a min ill post what im talking to you and explain the issue- basibly the launcher has build in commands that it throws at the game- but they conflict with most peoples nivida installations- its a problem that nvidia is goining to fix in a new driver a hotfix or a update to the current latest driver released for gta v.

the error is with the launcher and its built in commands that are in it that are started when the launcher is started up- those command line parameters we dont see but run when the gtavlauncher.exe starts conflict with most everyones current nivida installation- its a prob with nviida and there new drivers for gta v they been working on a fix since 1 oclock and not is goining on 7:30 - urgh but they say they are working on a hotfix and are testing it now once they got something stable they gonna release new driver or hotfix or update to gtav ready driver that came out

Did you try disconnecting the controllers thingy? Also, what kind of settings do you have in AMD Control Panel?
