GTAV and Getting Steering Wheels To Work (Logitech G27)

I have scoured the internet for a definitive guide on getting steering wheels to work with GTAV because I'm weird and like the immersion aspect of steering wheel+semi-believable, fun city to drive in.

While GTAV doesn't natively support a steering wheel, I've gotten my Logitech G27 to work with "x360ce" thanks to tsoprano12 from here[support.rockstargames.com].

Steps

1. Go to https://code.google.com/p/x360ce/downloads/list and download both:
   x360ce.App-2.1.2.191.zip AND x360celib64r848_VS2010.zip
   
   
2. Extract x360ce.App-2.1.2.191.zip to a folder and run "x360ce.exe".
   
   
3. Select your steering wheel from the Profile drop-down list at the bottom of the application and then click "Load". (For my G27, I used the Driving Force GT profile - I'll explain why later.) You can record your other wheel inputs with the "Record" button, but I found with the profiles, I didn't need to do this. Save and close the application.
   
   
4. Now extract the contents of x360celib64r848_VS2010.zip INTO THE SAME LOCATION where you earlier extracted the contents of "x360ce.App-2.1.2.191.zip". Overwrite all existing DLL files.
   
   
5. Now grab all these files and copy them to the root directory for GTAV. (I bought this from GreenManGaming and not on Steam so I don't know the exact place for you all.)
   
   
6. Boot up the game! (You don't need x360ce open for this.) If all goes well, your steering wheel and brakes/gas should work!

This is not a definitive guide; this is essentially cleaning up someone else's instructions in the hopes this might benefit others. Tips and Tricks

• Even though I have a G27, using the G27 profile had the effect of making the gas pedal only work when depressed past 50%. Essentially if you pressed it from 0%-50% pressure, nothing would happen (a dead zone). Using the Driving Force GT Profile fixed this for my G27.

Looks like some work could be done to deadzones on both steering and pedals. Think you should transfer this to guides buddy.

x360ce just emulate a standard controller so the behaviour or the driving wheel really sucks, no h shifter, no clutch, no forcefeedback, no real driving wheel behaviour ( the game still using the wheel as a controller, so the faster you go, the car turn less with same degree of rotation....).

If someone want a wheel working with gta v ( single player OFC, if you put any file into gta v folder means instaban from online, dont forget about it and remove all your mods before go online).......

This is what you are looking for, the wheel perform as a real wheel ( no more speed compensation in turning) with manual gears ( with levers or h shifter support) clutch (you can shutfown the engine if you let the revs go very low when start moving), force feedback, speedometer, etc etc.

Tested with my old G25 and with a T300rs+T3PA pro pedals + TH8RS H shifter, works as a charm with both :D
