I didn't change anything there, as far as I know they don't really enchance the game and just drop performance.
How about FXAA. In my opinion MSAA turned off still looks awesome. Have fun dropping your FPS with MSAA.
Well, that may be reasonable! I'm using the ASUS R9 270X which is a bit stronger than the "normal" AMD R9 270X. However I'm also using the latest beta driver which is optimized for GTA V.
I've tried turning everything down and I still can't get past normal?
Is there something special you gotta do?
I'm using same card, windforce 270x, 2gb.
Is it lagging for you if you turn it to high or does it block you from turning it to high? If it's lagging for you if you turned it to high, it would be weird as the Gigabyte Windforce R9 270X is stronger than my ASUS R9 270X. If it's blocking you from turning to to high, change the first option "Ignore Suggested Limits" to "on".
Got it to work.
Seems weird that you can use more than your memory and not instantly notice slow downs.
I'll give it a good test tomorrow.
Once again, the value is just an estimated value by the game. You can check your actual VRAM usage with a software like MSI Afterburner.
