Did Somebody Say Yoga Mission Problem
I can't get past the yoga part of the mission. I can manage to push the down key, move the mouse into position, and hold left and right click at the same time to "inhale", but when it's required to release the left and right click to "exhale", nothing happens - the game acts as if I'm still holding left and right click, even when I'm not touching the mouse.

Then when I try clicking again after releasing the mouse and not getting a response, a beeping noise happens, which I know is a system sound for when you're pressing too many keys at the same time.

I do not have Sticky Keys enabled - I turned off every setting for that. I also disabled the beeping noise, but that was for my keyboard. This problem seems to be related to my mouse, because the "you're holding too many keys" beeping is happening when the only keyboard key I'm pressing is the letter S.

EDIT: I bought a 360 controller, used it for the mission and passed it immediately. But I don't like using a controller, I'd rather use a mouse. I do use a cheap mouse, but people with 150 dollar gaming mice have reported the exact same problem I'm having. If you search Steam's GTA 5 forum for "mouse beep" you'll see it's not just me - but what is the solution then?

Same problem. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ consoles, this might be hard to optimize controls in the multiplatform games. Wonder if GTA would be PC only game...

I think the only thing to do at this point, since I'm not sure how to actually fix the mouse issue, is to just use a controller - like a wireless xbox controller with a gaming receiver usb thing

What keyboard and mouse do you have ? This usually happens on cheap hardware due to them having a very small key limit
Andreas 16 ABR 2015 a las 19:01
like I said, I'm only holding one keyboard key, "S," but my keyboard is a Logitech usb 5V 100mA - my mouse is a Microsoft optical usb, also 5V 100mA; I'm not sure what other info might be needed for those things though

Im using a $10 staples keyboard and i didnt have any issue with that mission. Grated, it took me a few tries. Are you sure youre reading the instructions clearly? I dont think its a cheap keyboard issue or anything honestly.

like I said, in the post and in my response to you, I'm holding one single key, the problem is that my mouse stops responding after I hold down right click and left click at the same time (which it tells you to do) and therefore the prompts for the yoga aren't being completed correctly because I literally cannot complete the instructions due to my mouse not responding.

I get a beeping noise every time I click after I hold down left and right click at the same time, like it's a system sound used to inform the user that their inputs aren't working properly - which I can tell since the prompts aren't being completed - but how to make it actually work is what I can't figure out.

You can't.. as I said in my post it's due to a cheap perihperal.. your mouse in this case being a cheapy Microsoft mouse.. that's the noise of your system telling you it's unable to complete the operation due to having too many buttons pressed down

You'll need to upgrade your mouse... what are your system specs btw ? That's very unusual for a semi-recent rig to have an input limit.

ah well some basic specs are AMD FX-8320 8-Core 3.5 GHz processor, NVidia GeForce GTX 650 Ti 3.9 GB video card, 16 GB memory, and I have two hard drives, one being 298 GB and the other being 465 GB

Buy a better mouse.. those $20 Microsoft ones are as basic as you can get

yeah that makes sense, I've had this one for years, I can't remember the last time I got a new one

Its not cheap peripherals.

same thing happens on razer kb/mouse combos and logitech gaming kb/mouse combos.

Holding down both mouse buttons in SWTOR makes my character move forward holding down both mouse buttons in this game makes the computer beep at me.

I got a wired 360 controller and passed the mission immediately when I used it instead of my mouse, but I prefer using a mouse and keyboard. I'm still getting the problem when I need to do a lot of frequent/quick shooting, because it happens when I'm using the left and right click at the same time while using keyboard keys

if you're using a logitech G-series mouse, update your Logitech Gaming Software. did the trick for me

Zowie FK1
CSGO gamer here, so everything related to mice is perfect.
I first got this bug when I was in first person RMB aiming with weapons. The whole movement ♥♥♥♥♥ up and I have to wait while my character keeps walking as if I'm pressing W. Happened with the yoga mission as well.
Any fix?

that happens to me too - I figure whatever causes the issues with the yoga mission's mouse-related prompts also causes that. since it isn't a cheap hardware problem and I've seen this talked about in lots of other places without answers, the only thing to really get around those problems is to play with a controller. I bought a wired Xbox 360 controller literally just to pass the yoga mission and it worked properly right away.
