Can't find anyone online?

Every time I try to connect to a gta online session, it just dumps me into a solo session. I've tried finding a new session, launching a random job and restarting the game but I still can't find anyone.

I was certain this was a problem with my port settings in my router but I've forwarded the ports rockstar told me to (80 TCP, 443 TCP, 6672 UDP, 61455 - 61458 UDP) and I've tested the ports online and they're definitely forwarded. I've even reset my router to factory settings and tried DMZ mode just to be sure but still, nothing. Is anyone else having this problem?

EDIT: The problem seems to have solved itself. If it helps anyone, here's the checklist I used (some might not be useful, this is just what I did in no particular order):
-Run GTAV as administrator
-Forward ports listed above to your IPv4 address
-Ensure you're using a static IP address for port forwarding
-Add exception to firewall for GTAV.exe (make sure it's the game and not just the launcher, if this doesn't work try disabling your firewall completely)

EDIT2: After a reboot the problem has come back. I haven't changed any settings, it just doesn't want to connect me to anyone now. Any advice would be appreciated

yeah i am too. There are many people having this problem. Dissapointed i cant play with my friends. 18 months since day 1 and 3 releases of the same game and its still buggy and crashing.

I have had no problems joining lobbies with people it could just be your internet or the servers itself

It's weird because I had it working yesterday and it's just not working today. I didn't even change any settings.

It probably has something to do with your network, firewall or router/modem. Make sure those are set up right. I have no problems at all finding servers with 20 - 25 players online.

I've not been able to join anyone for 2 days in a row

I can't connect if i:

Join on a friend via ingame
Get invited to a random job lobby by a random person
My friends try to join me
My friends try to "ring" me

Yet i can see them online, and they can see me online..

I have no problems in any other games, never have, League of Legends, Evolve, Dying Light - they all work without issue

LoL and Evolve may be dedicated servers (LoL definately is) but Dying Light is player hosted...

Having the same problem, have never ever successfully connected to servers that have 10+ players :(

Everytime i get in on a freeroam server with alot of ppl in it, after a couple seconds, everybody left the game. Leaving me alon on the session. This thing happen too on a job or a mission, suddenly everybody left session and im just playing the mission alone

I just realised my firewall had magically turned itself back on. I disabled it and got an infinite loading screen for gta online. At least it's something different, I guess

So, after disabling my firewall I re-enabled it and double checked that GTA V was in the exceptions list. It already was so I didn't have to change anything, but now online works, magically. Something's not right about this

I'm at work at the moment but I'll be back on this case when i get home.

I've fiddled with port forwarding, turning the firewall in both windows and my modem on and off

Nothing has made any difference to me so far.. I'll keep you posted in circa 8 hours if i can document a fix ¬_¬

Sometime i can't join a friend but restarting the game seems to fix it and sometimes when i'm in a lobby i lose connection with everybody (everybody leaves at the same time) but my internet is fine 8 ping 120 mb/s down and 60 mb/s up.
