[bug] Derailed ["E" does not activate thermal scope]

So basically this mission cannot be done without cheating and I refuse to cheat. Played this before on the xbox and I've passed this mission with flying colors. Unfortunately, the thermal scope is not working. What do I do from here with low health and getting shot from every direction and no place to cover.

Same issue, the thermal scope doesn't work. I can't find the 4th sniper without it and he eventually kills Trevor.

After a few deaths you'll get it done. Just remember were they are at. When the choppers come and those two are parachuting down, make sure to kill them and you're golden. Boy this game is really screwed up.

Found him, he's under the bridge, next to the bridge pole bottom.

This needs more attention. I also ran into this very same bug.

This does not require 100% attention because you can figure out where they are at. Hopefully, it is listed as minor bug and will be fixed. Not that I care anymore because the storymode is finished. Does make the mission complex and challenging. I like that. Now to plaster the hole in the wall. Yikes!

This also happens on the mission were you have to kill the 3 brothers from the chopper with michael..

I'm still having this problem as well. I press the thermal vision activator, and all I get is a flicker before it returns to normal vision. To make things weirder the game acts like the vision overlay is still on, as I can still turn it back off somehow. Not even night vision is safe from this, it has the exact same problem.

Can someone help me?

Just play the mission without it.. it will be more difficult but in some tries you'll do it.

Two years after this thread started and this bug is still present. I don't care if you can do the mission eventually without it, that is still lazy AF.

They dont fix bugs or improve SP, they sell shark cards and that is all they do now.

Still BUGGED in 2019! COME ON ROCKSTAR! Do you need tester? How could the QA has miss that!!! Please, hire me! I don't wanna see GTA 6 with those kind of stupid QA bugs in 2020!!!
