4 GB RAM is not enough to work GTA V

Rockstar put the minimum requirements that 4GB would be enough for the game to work at least the minimum of the game setting.

But this is not working, no matter what your CPU or your VGA. Will not work if you do not have at least 6GB RAM.

Why Rockstar put the minimum would be 4GB if that's not enough?

Perhaps this is a temporary problem, which would be understandable. But if that changes, they deceived everyone with a PC with 4GB.

You don't have any other programs running? Even background ones that are only visible in processes through task manager? In all honesty I haven't seen it used less than 6 GB... So even recommended setttings are confusing me.

I have a gtx980, and if I run on safemode, I can play for 5-6 mins. If I play at max settings, it crashes in under a min.

wait for patch is all you can do.

Ive noticed the longer you play the more ram it starts using i got upto 9.8 usage with only the game running nothing else in the background with max in game settings

I just test with 8GB and works normally.

I also have friends who have 4GB and are having the same problem of LAG and crashes.
The game has a bug or the minimum requirements are wrong.

I have the GTX 980 and I have 0 problems with max 1080p 60fps.

I noticed it was at almost 9Gb when I alt-tabbed. Luckily I have 32GB or I would be in trouble.

I dont think 8GB for gta5 is enough then it starts using hard drive memory then the stuttering happens.

MInimum specs only work if you use all minimum settings. The recommended for the game is 8GB.

4GB of useable RAM. That's not including OS usage and other background operation. You have to factor in all that.
