Ingame Mouse Problem

So far I can't find any info online about this problem.

When I get into a game in GTA V the mouse doesnt work. I can use my keyboard to move around, but I can't use mouse, like when I press tab to get out weapons, moving mouse does nothing. I can't move the camera.
When I open the menu with ESC the cursor is there and I can move it around, but I can't click on anything and when I navigate through the menu with Q or E, all the options are greyed out.

I have tried: Plugging mouse out then back in, restarting GTA (like 100 times, restarting Steam, restarting the computer, and mashing all the buttons while ingame in case of a miracle.

try to change input settings for mouse...if u can get there with keyboard only (and dont bump in every minute)

you can change it in the game settings. i dont know know the exact menu names, but its there. check out!

The game settings are greyed out, I can't click on any of them.

In game. Just look for it under the settings.

you cant click, but not even with enter key? thats wierd...than try a steam repair or what

I also tried steamrepair, and when I use the enter key its still all greyed out, cant get down to the settings with the arrowkeys or anything

I somehow fixed this problem by opening and closing the steam overlay while paused and disconnecting my controller

I got fix for this. Just tap 2 times ALT + ENTER

This was a resolution problem for me. The game was set to 800x600 for some reason, so my mouse was stuck in THAT tiny box and I had to fix it by setting the game resolution to my monitor's resolution.

fixed it. You need to go in options, mouse and keyboard and change mouse input, select another method and set Raw input.
