How can you people drive with keyboard and mouse!?
This is the first time I have played GTA on a computer, and I'm enjoying the obvious advantages that come along with it, but holy hell, I can't drive for ♥♥♥♥ lol. I'm sure it REALLY doesn't help that I'm using a blue switch mechanical keyboard, but I can't see it getting much better, it just feels so clunky and imprecise. How do you guys fair with it? You get use to it eventually to the point where it doesn't affect you a hole lot?

I'm ordering a 360 controller to switch to when I hop into vehicles lol.

Yea well, I git the feeling that no matter how gud you get with a mouse and board, you could still be better driving with a gamepad.

It's not as precise as a controller but it still get the job done and driving isn't that bad for me to be honest. Flying on the other hand is a different beast. good luck flying one of those F-17 with a mouse (i had to for a Race yesterday and it took me 9.5 minutes and like 100 crashes to complete the race).

I've been using bother...Keyboard for walking... and controller for Cars and Flying.

you can drive more precisely with the gamepad (like driving small corners) but not better. It just depends on what you are used to.
In better driving games gamepad would be better, but gta 5 is so much arcade it makes no difference in my opinion.
I use both btw ^^

I'm using both Xbox one controller for vehicles and keyboard/mouse for first person shooting or drivebys.

How is the xbox one controller with this game? I am sticking with my 360 pad for now but I am considering the upgrade at some point.
Using a controller just defeats the purpose of pc gaming

It's a concession I make so I don't get killed over and over in gun fights.
I'd rather git gud at driving with KB+M then use the controller for shooting.

I had the same problem the first time I played a racing game on PC, it just feels weird using the keyboard to drive, I would just recommend putting lots of time into it. Just go into freeroam and drive a ton and eventually you will get used to it.

In the online intro, someone complained how I was using the controller.
I only use the mouse in the Shooting Range, and anything else that needs precise input.

I never even thought of getting xbox one controller. Meh, 360 ftw.

LOL, it's actually much easier and more precise to control the vehicles with the analog sticks and throttles on a game controller (I'm using Xbox one wired), I still use mouse/keys for walking/shooting/aiming of cause, because it's far better/more accurate to aim a gun with the mouse.

Guys, how are the flying controls for GTA V? I was wondering how they were going to make it for mouse and keyboard.
