Bit wierd that it takes up so much video memory no?
Population variety simply means how much of a random Sample Space the game engine has to choose from, when it renders characters in the game. If you have a lower Variety, less textures need to be loaded, and as such, less cariety or diversity in characters will appear in the game. I think they may also bleed into Vehicle types as well.
The more variety it has, the game engine Calls all of the textures and geometry files for the different items in teh game. So instead of having to go Fetch data on the main disk, it instead caches it for faster access.
It should have no difference on performance, assuming the amount of ram is sufficient.
Thanks, but it does, it takes up alot of video memory.
