GTA V exited unexpectedly FIX

Check wich windows you have (32 bit or 64 bit) download that file and replace it with your with the one in your windows32 folder (DON'T FORGET TO MAKE A COPY OF THE OLD ONE)

Installation instructions:

Open the zip-file you downloaded from DLL-files.com.

Extract the dll-file to a location on your computer.



We recommend you to unzip the file to the directory of the program that is requesting the file.


If that doesn't work, you will have to extract the file to your system directory.


By default, this is:
C:\Windows\System (Windows 95/98/Me),
C:\WINNT\System32 (Windows NT/2000),
C:\Windows\System32 (Windows XP, Vista, 7).



Make sure overwrite any existing files (but make a backup copy of the original file).

Reboot your computer.


GTA V still doesnt work?


try the following:

1. Press Start and select Run.
2. Type CMD and press Enter (or if you use Windows ME, type COMMAND).
3. Type regsvr32 "filename".dll and press Enter.

I had the same issue as you Knoxville, same error but when I change it to 43 still no solution, was that your only problem?

this fixed for me, replace with the originals

Thank you so much, works for me,I spent a long time trying to fix the cache of steam but these .dll fixed. ;)

If this is due to having AMD, then change your graphics properties (global settings) to forced power save mode. The game will be playable if this was the case...and ill leave it at that

FOUND SOLUTION
if you have any mods in gta 5 put them out

I was having this issue and using ComboFix http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/combofix/ to fix the registry worked for me. Game is working again.

how to fix this !!.. I spend many hours on gta 5 and didn't get error and now.. I fked up..

The long way around POSSIBlY fixing some GTA V crashes is to completely reinstall Windows. My game stopped working around July last year when i was on Windows 7 and even after going to W10 nothing changed something was wrong either in the registry or some other corrupted file that carried over, only a full reinstall of W10 fixed it just make sure to back up your main files to another hard drive.

I got a multitude of different error and exit codes so the game just acts wierd if ur OS has something wrong with it that required a completely fresh install.
