Yes specs are misleading often and plenty of times happened the game ran much more smooth than anticipated.

Can play this game with everything set to normal @60FPS (with drops to 43 under some conditions I can't seem to get my finger around) on the resolution of 1600x900 and 1440x900 (first one is for external display).

2012 MBPr with 16GB ram and the 1GB GT650M. (wonderful machine! can do so much more gaming than my 2009 gaming pc)

i know this was posted 2 years ago, but if anyone can reply, i'll greatly appreciate it. My mac bootcamp can run gta 5 fine but the problem is that within minutes of starting gta 5, my mac gets extremly hot. i dont know the exact temperatures, but i'm wondering if this could affect my mac

Thanks for the quick reply. Do u have any recommendations? I already got a cooling pad and it works great, I just don't think it's enough to cool down GTA 5. Mine is a HAVIT HV-F2056 15.6"-17" Laptop Cooler Cooling Pad - Slim Portable USB Powered (3 Fans). So do u have any other suggestions that u thing might be better at cooling down my mac?
