NSIS Error

So when I start up the game it tells me I have a NSIS Error

Installer integrity check has failed. Common causes include incomplete download and damaged media. contact the installer's author to obtain a new copy.

I've verified and no missing files found.. so I restarted PC.. Still same message.. Wiped all files and redownloaded the game and still getting this message.. can anyone help me please?

Getting the same error and finding zero answers...so frustrating lol

I turned off my anti-virus and peerblock then restarted the install. Everything is working fine now.

I fixed it by fresh installing windows.. not the best fix but worked perfect after that

I found a solution that worked for me... I found that the problem was when the steam installer was trying to install Social Club. So what I did was I went to https://support.rockstargames.com/hc/en-us/articles/200146066-Manual-Link-to-Social-Club-Application-Download and downloaded Social Club. Log to your account or create one if you don't have any. Then link your steam GTA V steam product key to your social club. Now try running the game...It worked for me

It says Gta5 is not installed for me...
