Cannot join my friends sessions in GTA Online

All my friends play together in GTA Online, but i cant join their games, got error "Unable to join GTA Online session". Any ideas how to fix it ?

Same problem here. None can connect to me and I can't connect to them. I spawn in a server with just me and nobody else.

^ double it, i already portforwarded all necessary ports, got DMZ host. I want to play Online so bad, guyz =*(

Ask your friend to switch his lobby hopefully that fixes it

Dammit, i am having the same problem. First i had to work around launching issue now this :(, Was really hoping some one forums had a solution.

also Yero, My work around for the launch issue was to disable my Nvidia Graphics card through device manager. then Launch the gam, then enable it while Social club starts loading. Maybe this will work for you.

I have the same problem. it is up to your router, even if you have the ports enabled, the settings are to strict. can only change your provider, or you buy a new router and do it yourself. i had the same problem on the ps3!

what direct x are you running in online? I switched my direct x from 11 to 10 to see if it would help with crashing and after that I couldn't join my friends sessions anymore so I switched it back. I'm not sure if it's because we had different direct x versions or something entirely different though.

So the patch fixd my launch problems, I no longer need to disable my Nvidia then enable it again after launching the game.

I still can't join online sessions with other people. Even though their are thousands of NPCs.. to me it still feels like a ghost town :.(

I just talked to my provider, and he put my router in DMZ mode.
now everything works and I can join full lobbys, or when im allone people starting to join my game.

Oh wow thats awesome, congats man. Is there a way for me to do that manually?

Enable uPNP on your routers. Make sure your friends you are trying to join have thier routers set properly too. Using DMZ is rather dangerious since all connections will go strait to your Pc and your firewall is effectifly off. You might as well plug your PC directly into your modem and not use a router.
