Yep, my game runs at a stable 90-110 yet on Online it crashes randomly.

It still happens in single player to me but on a MUCH lower scale, at least it isn't every 10-20 minutes like Online.

Yeah i have had a couple of crashes, random, no reason etc. The game is not capped at 60, i thought it was also, unless u engage vsync. If you run shadowplay with fps counter u will see the game runs around 80fps on a high end rig, it did drop to 65 while i was experimenting with carnage lol

Yup, 60fps but it seems to be crashing every 5-10minutes. Running the new driver also. I actually played the game fine for most of today, but after about 6 hours I started getting troubles. 2 hard lock ups so far that forced a restart, and I'm on my third CTD.

♥♥♥♥. I just spend hours fighting the microstutter and subpar 10fps in cars, now this!

Do you have problems like that in single player or just online?

Stuttering? god... not had that, my pc was haunted by this with that Watch Dogs game, but GTA V runs smothe for me so far, all graphic options maxed exept extended shadows in advance options, i didnt bother raising that.

i5 2500k and a 680. The game itself is smooth as ♥♥♥♥. It is a very solid port. I just cant play any missions or heist online, if i crash out of the blue.

ah similar issue im having it seems to crash quite often when loading into and out of a mission, i have sli 980's and a 4790k, i was ablke to play for like 7 hours overn ight , no issues, but a mate kept crashing, then this morning im crashing randomly, kind of frustrating when there doesnt appear to be any real cause.

I have the same issue too, Game runns on mosstly maxed details with my 970, 2500k, and 16gb Ram.
I checked the windows event manager and it is an Application Hang error with the Event ID: 1002. Please check your windows event viewers to verify that were infact having the same issue, then we might be able to work on a solution unless someone has one already

@premium cabins,
sounds lame but maybe there are drivers missing. There is a nice software tool called DriverNavigator that helped me finding a lot of drivers I could not find otherwise. Might be worth a shot

If any of you actually took this guy's advice and downloaded this program I would remove it immediately and run a virus scan.

I might have found the solution to my problem. Letting the GTA V launcher open. i played the game for 5 hours. No crashes. The launcher just use a lot of resources for some reason. Still getting 60fps in online anyway.

@Premium cabins for rent: How do you do that? When the launcher starts up GTA V it automatically disappears?

Having the same problem as everyone here. Single Player seems to be working fine with at most 1 or 2 crashes every 2 hours. But Online is unplayable at the moment, because I can't play for more than 5 minutes before it crashes to the desktop. Was hoping to play me some GTA Online, but it seems I might have to wait a while for Rockstar to clean up the mess.
