How to start a game without the 500000$ bonus code

As the title says. I tried to purchase the game without the promotional code, because i wanted to play it as intended. I got the promoitional code anyway, so now i have 500000$ to start with which i rather not. So here is the question:

How can I start a game without the 500000$ boost or how can i fast bleed 500000$ dollars on an activity that is available from the start?

it's a story driven game. giving the character half a million dollar while he's not supposed to be rich kinda breaks the story doesnt it?

Yeah - I dont want stuff just sitting becuase I will probably use it. currently I'm just comitting suicide with grenades. -5000 every time, so its an option. Just a damn slow one to be able to play the game vanilla style

i dont know if you still can but i was, like 9 hours ago, able to request a refund ( money goes to steam wallet ) --> go to transactions on your account @steam @webbrowser :)

If you right click on the game in Steam, go to properties, and go to the DLC tab, does the money disappear if you uncheck the DLC and start a new game?

Sadly Oooska - I still get the 500,000$ after I have completed the two car mission :/
