Can't Aim or Shoot while driving

I'm having an issue here, I can't aim or shoot while I'm driving any vehicle, my friends can do it though... It is not a configuration problem 'cause I already reseted all key bindings even though I haven't changed any of them, it is a bug from the game.

Yes, I have 3 pistols, Pistol, SNS Pistol and Vintage Pistol, I switch between them and nothing happens, I hold RMB and nothing happens too, just while I'm driving. It is a bug

I googled it and found other people facing the same issue on PS3 and PS4 versions, apparently this bug is caused by Race Jobs that you can't shoot. It was working fine in the beggining. I have just realized this issue now, I have played a couple races, one of them may be the cause of this, one guy said the solution is to finish a race job that you can shoot that has the type of race "Grand Theft Auto" which I can't find on my jobs either, what am I supposed to do now? Rockstar should fix this asap, it is a simple bug I guess, restarting the game wont fix this I already did it several times and the race solution is only a temporaly solution it'll come back every time you run the game. I'll report here if I find any solutions anyway

I tried the fix and it works but only for the current session, if you restart the game the bug comes back. =/

Yeah I can't shoot from vehicles either, which makes completing one of the early missions impossible. Will try to restart.

Nope, restarting didn't work. Man this suck! Can't get furter into the game than the boat-driving mission!

Another temporaly and quicker solution, try to pick up the phone and open Snapmatic while you're in the vehicle then close it, the bug goes away but not for ever. I sent a bug report to rockstar and I'm waiting for response.

Just had this bug as well. Can't believe it still exists since it happend on my 360 as well. How long have they had to fix it since console release? Aparently not long enough.

I have also heard that buying another sidearm can resolve the issue. Haven't tried it on the PC version yet tho. Pretty annoying when you find yourself in a single player mission where it is required to shoot from your car and you can't.

I just encountered it myself. I've managed to find threats dating back to the release discussing this bug. How the ♥♥♥♥ do you ignore a long standing issue that affects all versions of the game?

Can confirm that buying another sidearm fixes it. At least temporary eventhough I haven't had it appear any more since.

Yeah, the phone trick works too. I just find it pathetic that they've managed to oversee ♥♥♥♥ like this even though the bug has been around for years.

I'm still with the bug, and using the phone trick every time I run the game, this is annoying.

Just go in your mobile and put in camera, after that, everything came back to normal.
