No playGTAV.exe
I have went to the rockstar support website and noticed that they mentioned a .exe file that I do not have so I went through all of the other steps and nothing worked so I came here to ask how do I get this .exe .(note I have already done all steps listed here https://support.rockstargames.com/hc/en-us/articles/204075496-How-to-Resolve-Errors-in-the-Social-Club-Launcher-for-GTAV-PC ) Is there a download link to get it that I am missing?

Step 1.
Download the launcher here: http://www.filedropper.com/gtavlauncher_2
Click "DOWNLOAD THIS FILE" in the grey box, nothing else.
This will allow you to finish your download, run the game, and get rid of the error codes.
Step 2. Run the launcher or run the game through steam.
Step 3. Working GTA!

have fun!

This solution worked for me. (So far)

My System
Asus ROG G750JW Laptop
Intel Core i7-4700HQ
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 765M ( Driver ver. 350.12 )(NVIDIA GeForce Experience Installed)
8GB RAM
Win 8.1

I'm running four executable files as administrator. The files and location (on my system) are as follows.

Steam - C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/Steam
subprocess - C:/Program Files (x86)/Rockstar Games/Social Club/subprocess
GTA5 - C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/SteamApps/common/Grand Theft Auto V/GTA5
GTAVLauncher - C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/SteamApps/common/Grand Theft Auto V/GTAVLauncher

If this helps, well there you go, fixing something that shouldn't need fixing in the first place!

i found a soution to this problem that worked for me, all i had to do was go into device manager disable my graphics card and quickly run the game, after which i went to quickly enable the graphics card and get the game to run in its full 60 fps glory
