3d vision problems
3d vision does not work fine, it is ok for the intro but after the intro the video with michael is flat and then the game is totally flat, even using the push button of the 3D vision. If changing settings to get 3D vision back, the game ask to reboot it... not pleasant.

Well I'm happy 3d vision works. The game is a little flat. I can only read most text in the right eye, its blank on the left eye. Includes the menus. It looks more like compatability mode than some 3D I have seen.
On the plus side, lighting seeems good and most lights work properly. Not a lot of ghosting. With 2 980's sli does seem to be working and using both cards. Resolution of 1440p looks great on the Rog swift with 3d vision working. Seems like im getting around, sometimes a little, sometimes a lot over 60fps. Hitting close to 120Fps sometimes as reported by evga precision X.

Added: I do see a great 3d experience inside locations. 3d vision looks good and you can see depth. Outside in the city it does still works but there is an appearence of less depth when compared to inside.

I noticed when I started it that it dropped the NVIDIA settings to minimum. Use Ctrl-F4 (or Alt-F4, whichever it is) to crank them back up to max. Additionally, bump up the convergence in the graphical settings. I also had to reboot at one point because 3DTV Play got confused. It showed the screen in one eye but basically a much darker version in the other eye. After a reboot, it clearedup.

Trust me! I finally got it working. With the NVIDIA settings cranked to max and convergence at 50%, the depth is AMAZING!

Ok Massive Improvement!!!! -> Raising the Convergence level in the settings up to half or 100 percent really brings out amazing depth, Even outside!!! I tried the control f4/f5 manual adjustments and found that didn't do much.
However turning it up in the settings makes a massive improvement to the depth in game... 3D ready IMO now as long as they or someone fixes the text that is only working in one eye..

Yeah, the convergence makes a difference for sure. Even my wife, who isn't a big 3D person, said, "WOW!" when I showed it to her at Franklin's house, under a tree, with the city skyline in the background. So many levels of 3D in that one scene...

Can't say I'm having a problem with the text, though. :/

I wonder if the text is messed up only with SLI or 1440p resolutions... Or if its 980 cards.. I also found the turn indicator in races is blurry. But overall all the real graphics look amazing in 3d vision now. Very happy with how it looks, and if anyone was thinking about trying 3d this game will make it worth it.

it seems long shadows can't be applioed with 3D vision, also I can't go up to 1680 resolution else the game go back to windowed and no 3D vision mode... I have a GTX 760 2GB. Without 3D vision I can go up to 2K resolution. All settings maxed out.

You can try this:
1. Open NVIDIA control panel
2. Navigate to setup stereoscopic 3D
3. Click Set Keybord Shortcuts
4. Click Show advance in game settings
5. Tick enable advance in game settings
6. Click OK
7. When in game, Toggle various 3D modes by pressing CTRL + ALT + F11 (or whatever shortcut u set).
8. Good Luck ;)

Removing the gtav.exe file from the profile in nvidia inspector fixed the text in one eye issue. I don't know if it created other problems yet. Seems the shaders do glitch on occasion but overall its working great. Change the profile to Max Payne 3 for better results.
