this steam account is already linked to a different social club account

So i linked the GTA V key to my NEW social club account.
But my steam account is linked to my OLD social club account, therefore i cant play with any of the accounts...

I contacted Rockstar and Steam support, now hoping on a quick response.

They replied 11hours ago for me to give more info.

I gave them the info needed and now havent responded dfor 11 houurs.

I have the same issue. I provided every bit of info I could think they would need, along with screenshots confirming ownership of the key and two Social Club accounts.

I submitted my ticket 21 hours ago. I got a reply about two hours ago saying it's been escalated to the relevant team. No more information and no ETA.

I have called the Netherlands rockstar support (taketwointeractive).
And i called the USA support, and he told me they've escalted it to the right team aswell.

Those phone calls have litteraly cost me atleast 20euro's.
Still they keep ignoring me on twitterr/fb/support ticket.

I am so freaking mad right now, waiting 23hours for the freaking solution!

I was thinking about buying the physcial copy since a lot of people seem to be having problems with downloading, does anyone know if the steam social club account is exclusive to steam or do I need to create a brand new social club account with the physical copy?

Have you already tried unlinking your steam account from your rockstar profile (via the website) and then linking it to the new one?

I knew that this will happen.Before 20 days I've asked them to un-link my R*SC account from Steam because of MaxPayne 3, and they didn't resolve. Some girl from support gave me information about "Windows Live Mesh" and some freaking information about sync folder Rockstar Social Club...It was c/p and not relevant tbh. Then after few days she did "resolved" on mail. LOL ...I think they don't want or don't know how to do that UN-LINK. Strange...Like every few messages there on support are this problem.And ofc I have same problem now with GTA V and I can not play the game. Please if someone recieve more information, share here or pm. Thank you.

You CANT unlink it on the social club website, if you press the unlock button it refers to make a support ticket. The other accounts you can link, like twitter etc. dont need a support ticket and can be removed manually without rockstar. Btw, i also started a steam support they told me its out of their hands and Rocksta has to fix it.

Btw 2: waiting for 26hours now.... including couple of hours waiting of my gyazo....

got the game on steam. Couldn't get the social club launcher to work so i headed to the social club website and saw activate pc. Hit it and put in my cd key and it worked. got the launcher working and signed in and was hit a screen asking for my activation code again. Put in the same code and it said the key is already in use. That's my problem and no fix has been found. 14 hours on ticket with a few twitter messages also. Hopefully tmr we will see something happen....♥♥♥♥
