Is I3-3217U @1.8GHz able to run GTAV in minimum?
I went CAN YOU RUN IT
and got answer of no
but actually my brother used this laptop to play Assassin's Creed Black Flag and it was pretty good in low graphic settings
below is the minimum requirements of CPU of Black Flag
Intel Core2Quad Q8400 @ 2.6 GHz or AMD Athlon II X4 620 @ 2.6 GHz
sounds even more powerful then the one of GTAV

So can my CPU actually run this game, it will be sooooo annoying if i bought it, preloaded it and have to delete it because it can't be runned.
I know it is a bit risky, but i still want the preorder bonus so i bought this game.
anyway, plz tell me if you have any ideas or if you are using the same CPU as mine
Thank you very very much
: D

Open your browser, and type in "Gta5 Systemrequirementslab"
Or "Gta5 system requirements gamedebate"
And yes. It should run it.
I have Amd Fx-6350 8core something something and I should run this game fine on High settings.

Your GPU is many times more important. If anything, you should be asking about that.

Though I'd recommened at least an i5 for your CPU.

The minimum is a Intel Core2Quad Q8400 which is worse than the i3, so it should. If it doesn't run on an i3 but can run on an Intel Core2Quad Q8400 then that would make no sense. i3 should be fine.

the reson i am i bit worried is that I3-3271U is a low-voltage cpu and my friend told me it is equivelant to Celeron processor on very old PCs : (
thank you~

I wouldn't hold my breathe dude. You'll probably be stutterting a ton and online plus some mods that might be cpu/gpu heavy will probably not be playable. I recommend upgrading my man. Honestly I wouldnt even pay for game that I even question being able to run.

Oh geez, forget your CPU for a second (your CPU is fine). With your GPU, you'll probably only be able to get 720p at roughly 30FPS, which will dip lower when high intesnity action is happening.

If this game is very well optimized, you'll be able to run it. Though just barely. If it's not that well optimized, then you probably can't. I belive I've read somewhere on Steam that if you've only played a game for less than an hour, you can ask for a refund. So make sure it works.
