Connection to server lost . Reconnecting ..

Got my physical copy today.

5 gb update needed to download from Rockstar servers - Social Club

and

i frequently getting this issue '' Connection to server lost. Reconnecting .. ''

Normally my fiber internet speed is 4 mb per sec but here ; its around 100 kb per sec.

Any advices to download faster or at least solve this ''Connection to server '' issue..

Probably too busy doe the servers this close to releas, maybe wait an hour.

Wait until after release. This is why you buy with Steam who have the servers to handle this many people :P

Reset your router by turning it off waiting 30 seconds and then turning it back on again.

Just restart the launcher.
Had the same problem... Just restarted each time it threw that error around.
Also... Got a 20mbit but the launcher said I was downloading with 200-500kb/s. Which isn't true. It was slow but a lot faster than if it were actually downloading with 200-500kb/s

And i sent a direct mail to Rockstar Support that still no offical answer

everyone is downloading the game so they are going to have download issues from the server. its being overloaded.
