Thanks a lot :) I dont mind doing patches and all, but will they be manaully? (dumb question)
EDIT: I don't believe so, if they go with the same system they used for GTA 4 PC, steam should automatically download and install them (if you dont have automatic updates disabled).

First post I could find, but I remember a post from the same guy with screenshots of the installer windows.
Basically, if you don't mind 10GB... a 5GB download (for now, not known if there will be more come release) is even better for you :)
As far as I know, the Steam version already has this 5GB download included in the pre-load and will only have the rumored 50mb~ download to unlock the game. The extra download for retail seems to be because they didn't want to bother adding an 8th disk.
my download is 200 - 150 kb/s
it take me 5 days to download it. you would be fine.
Thanks for the reply :) Big help, will only take 6 hours then, going to stores next week or the week after to purchase, but getting Killing Floor 2 first.
Um no. Download is my connection, upload is the rate of my speed that i can download games at if that makes sence. My download speed for games is roughly 200 KB's so it will take me several days non-stop
Haha, KF2 is going to be my next purchase when I get payed :P 2 games I've been waiting for coming out so close together.
Ah well, you worded it wrong. Your upload has nothing to do with your download. Also if you want the speed of your connection that would be 1.78mbps not 1.78MB/s which would make your connection speed around 18-19mbps.There's a difference :P
Not getting on your case, just letting you know :) And yes, retail version would be the best bet for you then.
You know what I mean! dw not offended or anything, more of a gamer then a tech brain ( if you get me).
