Should I create a new Rockstar Social Club account? or use my existing one that is linked to my xbox live account?

Is there any benefit to creating a new account? or should I use my pre-existing one that is linked to my old xbox live account and GFWL account.

Also, any suggestions relating to my name change for my social club account? as 'Murph' is too short and Murphy has already been taken.

To be honest If I were you I would just use the one you have, no reason to make another

Use the existing one. Especially if you have played GTA V on 360. If you have you get returning player content. Not great stuff by any stretch of the imagination, but still some extra stuff to have.

Keep your existing one. No perks to making a new one. You can even transfer your old online character and progress. =)

I never played GTA V on 360, but did play a lot of GTA IV.

The only thing that concerns me is that it might sign into my Xbox Live account and display as being online. I want nothing to do with Xbox Live and have no affiliation with it at the moment, I sold my Xbox 360 years ago and joined the Master Race in 2012.

May as well keep the account but need some advice on my name change. I really want it to be related to 'Murph'.

Ah, just found out that I can unlink both my GFWL account and Xbox Live account. Are there any drawbacks to doing this?

I spell my names backwards or use favourite movie titles as usernames, example Hard Eight is one of my favourite films about degenerate gambler's, so I used hard8 at one gaming fan site as a username!..

I used song titles like if6was9 as usernames before too at forum's and game sites etc!..

There are also username generators you can imput into to get a usename but they can come out with lame names at times!.

I think that you answered your own inquiry already and you'll know what to do when the time comes!..

It won't. Games For Windows Live has been shut down for a long time, so neither the Social Club, nor Steam are affiliated with it at all.

Can I still unlink my Xbox Live account? as I sold my Xbox 360 long ago and never plan on playing GTA V on it.
