Pre-order to get cheat money. Ruin game for yourself.

I'll wait till preorder is over with and will probably wait a little longer than that just for the bugs to get ironed out before buying this.

I already own it on PS3 and making/earning money in the game is what makes the game fun so why ruin it with the preload cheat cash?

A better pre-order bonus would have been Red Dead Redemption ported over to PC and exclusive to those who pre-ordered GTA V. Come on Rockstar, put your money where your mouth is and make your pre-orders worth while!

Or do it in reverse. Make an improved port of Red Dead Redemption for the PC and offer GTA V as a pre-order bonus in about 6 -12 months.

The money you get from pre-ordering is basically nothing. Everything is still locked at the start and most of the good stuff is well over what the pre-order bonus can offer.

It gives you a $500,000 head start over vanilla GTA V. While that may not be significant in some people's book, it actually is a significant head start over vanilla. I wonder if it's a one shot or if the pre-orders get the money every time they start a new game?

Hey, the game is 60 gigabytes. That's a lot of gigs especially for one game, the only reason to preorder is because of that soul fact, if you're hyped for the game, and want to play it on dayone then preorder it. I for over 3months didn't want to preorder the game, I said it wasn't worth it because no one has been able to get their hands on it, and be able to review the prerelease version. Until I saw how big it is, and my harddrive still hasn't stopped crying. ;)

I like the 500k headstart since i don't have the time to grind in games, still need to level up but at least i won't need to spend hours on cash grinding
Like many others i have a time demanding job that costs me over 10 hours a day including travel so i don't get more than 2-4 hours for gaming a day if at all and about the same on weekends.
So I do welcome the instant start cash, i want to play the game and not a grindfest like payday 2

Considering the properties (some of them), weapons and vehicle prices the 500k seems to be a lot, but even when you buy some properties it still takes lot of time or effort until they start making profits
i think 100-200k would be ideal as a pre-order bonus, but not very appealing to make ppl pre-order tho

Personally, i only pre-ordered because of the bonus cash
