You would have a point about it.....if steam was the only thing the game went through, no matter where you purchased it. But you don't. Because it isn't.
Like many others i have a time demanding job that costs me over 10 hours a day including travel so i don't get more than 2-4 hours for gaming a day if at all and about the same on weekends.
So I do welcome the instant start cash, i want to play the game and not a grindfest like payday 2
Considering the properties (some of them), weapons and vehicle prices the 500k seems to be a lot, but even when you buy some properties it still takes lot of time or effort until they start making profits
i think 100-200k would be ideal as a pre-order bonus, but not very appealing to make ppl pre-order tho
Personally, i only pre-ordered because of the bonus cash
