Are their any anti pirate measures?

Will rockstar be having any anti pirate measures in place to prevent pirates, pirating the game and acting all Piratey?

Heck id love to see something like, they get 1 shot killed by the cops in the start of the game, would be funny to see!

Nah, even if they will make a anti-piracy system, some professionals like RELOADED and R.G Mechanics will crack it with ease in a couple weeks/days.

they cant play with us online, they play on public servers, our servers are private.

Doubt it, people will probably still be able to easily pirate it, Its just they wont be able to play GTA online because they wont have a registered CD key and all the Servers are controlled/run by rockstar.

Maybe R* will do like other devs do and put something in the game to screw with pirates. Something like turn them into a rabbit after 10 minutes or make them reeaaaallllyyyyy slow.

That would be pretty pointless, you could just put a crack and boom, the annoyance is gone.

be funny if they put ransomeware in it to lock your comp and make you pay for the game. why ask you planning on pirating it?

Those methods will not stop cheaters, the only way is to ban them from online regretting they paid 60$ to get banned for being such an a$$hole

I don't think they will be adding any anti-pirate measures however I think that people who pirate the game will be able to play before those who pre-ordered because the game has appeared on a couple of pirating websites although without the crack as of yet.

No one will play before release day, exe is missing from ALL copies(steam,rockstar,retail)
