Why is there so many posts on chinese around here? Never so more than a few on any other forum. Is GTA V so popular in China?

Do a seach on forum. Yes it's legal. We don't need more posts about this, it'll only get locked like the rest of the posts similar to this.

Ok, my curiosity is satisfied. I would have gladly deleted thread, if that was possible. So waiting for the mods to lock it is the only way.

You must be new to this community forum. A short break down for you:

1. The Chinese are here (the Russians too, and the Germans, the French, a part of the Spanish speaking population and those most importantly those nasty English speaking brats :-P). All people that can legally aquire the game on Steam are allowed in this community forum.

2. Thin-skinned people complained a lot already. There also was a lot of bigotry and racism involved on both sides. It wasn't very productive to say the least.

3. It's Rockstar's job to manage this community forum though (e.g. create sub-forums) and Rockstar does not care about this uncivilized mess (I don't blame them).

4. For now most people from China write in their respective "Mega-Thread".

5. Don't forget that not being able to read their posts doesn't make them bad people. Be tolerant. We don't all speak the same language.

Try surfing the forum in 12 hours time, there'll be less Chinese/Russian post at that time. I believe it's prime time in asia right now and early morning in the west.

Chinese users got the game for the cheapest price without a region-lock. They all "earned" their copies providing many people in trade with GTA V for just over $30. It did not remain region-free in China for very long, but... Well, you know-- they're Chinese; they move very quickly. ;P

That... would probably be why the PC population on GTA Online will consist of way more Chinese players than any console. The forums do indicate this, indeed.

The game is popular in the whole world, and Steam is global, meaning you can play with anyone from the whole world in all titles that doesnt have regionspecific servers. I think this is good and it doesnt disturb me that there is chinese, russian or whatever typing in the forum, I dont need to understand everything everyone writes.
