if any of your freinds are geting this game you should get an external HDD and when they're done downloading gta 5. copy it to your hdd and then copy to your steam folder. BAM daved 20-65Gb download. Or if you downloaded it let your friend copy it.

The problem with that is the fact that each download is unique to each user, no one is supposed to be able to use the same files.

its not unique, just copy the appmenifest file too with the data, steam wont recognize the data download without this file, its located in steam apps folder outside commons. locate it with coresponding app id
