No GTA Online for Japanese players?

It is most likely due to censoring in Japan which conflicts with the Online encounters that could happen as even though it is nothing to with Online, but in Japan the mission where Trevor tortures someone has been censored.

Maybe people in Japan will actually write to the classification boards and protest about the government telling them what they can and can't watch

Assuming Rockstar aren't able to get international multiplayer working in Japan, do you think it's theoretically possible for a fan modification to remedy this? Or are the International and Japanese versions completely incompatible?

What do you mean with "No GTA Online"....? That text string confirms that there will be GTA online for japan but only with other japanese players, which sounds good. We need to watch those buggy cyrilic stuffs again in our online :S

nope, it just said that u cannot play OL with people who bought International versions, u still be able to play it with JAPANESE

I'm also happy for Aus, but it's kinda unfair for Japanese gamers as they are the only one singled out in terms of Online Content and Gameplay currently. I wish that no nation is singled out but sadly Japan got singled out :(

I'm from Australia and it's a nanny government.. constantly being told what we can and can't watch.. I'm just glad GTA V was not touched.


Disgusting at the age of 23 being told something is too violent and you can't make up your own mind to watch it.. makes you want to hate the government not trust it :)
