SparkIV/OpenIV
When we have the preloaded files, will we be able to open up any of the files (I know we can use OpenIV/SparkIV on the game) like normal such as with Max Payne 3 and L.A. Noire? Or will the files actually be compressed until the game is released?

I'm asking this because I thought it would be cool if I could poke around in the texture, model, and DFF files to see what Rockstar has done.

Before you ask, yes it's possible to open the game files and such (You can't open or reverse engineer the EXE) with said tools. People have done it for the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions to mod the games. These mods were/are called ISO mods, and they were even present in the console versions of Grand Theft Auto IV.

Preload files on steam are normally compressed/encrypted. I don't know the file structure for GTA V, so don't have a clue if OpenIV would even work on V.

The file structure *should* (meaning more than likely) be the same as GTA IV. If you read the last bit of my post you would have realized that. Thanks and have a good one.
