I don't think watchdogs deserves the universal panning it received in terms of game, story and game play. I have enjoyed the game and hope for a great sequel (no doubt one is incoming).
But.. the fact I have to use unofficial mods to make the game playable on my half decent computer is ridiculous. It seems the PC community is once again called in to fix a broken PC release.
That said, this time around gta is still king in every way imho. Though the ubi machine can pump out watchdogs iterations with far greater frequency than rockstar, and maybe, just maybe improve it enough each time to have a decent contender come gta6 time.

The concept of Watch Dogs was great but the execution was more than bad. Watch Dogs was one of the worst games I played in 2014 and I played a lot.

I have had 0 problems with watch_dogs on both R9 270, and GTX 970. I also loved playing watch_dogs, I played it start to finish without breaking for other games. However, GTAV is longer, more diverse, has better replay value, and online mode is much more fun. I would choose GTA V.

Watch dogs have a good concept but the game is clearly unfinished you should buy it during steam sales plus Ubisoft don't seems preocupated with the online anymore, no update and a lot of cheaters

Trust me, Watch dogs is a joke they lied everything in E3 Simply the physics are more worse than Goat simulator and they break Newton rules...

GTA V better of course. In WD not so many things that player can do than in GTA V. Any way I love WD, gameplay, story etc, but GTA V better.
