It is best we just remember the story and forget the awful driving physics.
And I almost forgot "I can't go bowling now cousin, maybe another time"
Races in V are fun, but they give me the same level of satisfaction as say Mario Kart. I really miss IV's driving mechanics.
It was akin to real life and the better player almost always won. No one could ever catch my vehicle in cops vs robbers, all about releasing the gas button before a corner than hitting your ebrake, not trying to ebrake while holding the gas down going 90+. I really hope they make a server with IV's driving.
Although I loved the GTA IV driving, I still belive that GTA V needs it's arcade-ish driving; imagine trying to weave between traffic in a heist getaway with the sliding and weight of GTA IV. The change will be nice, but I do hope they don't abandon all common sence in making the driving different.
After the great map of San Andreas all we got is walls, buildings, streets, and no desert, forests, or small towns. The cell phone was a garbage idea, and the port was horrible.
San Andreas is still a favourite, GTA 4 had no planes, just a few helis and this game has NO FREEDOM. Just one city and only cars what you can't enjoy because of the traffic jams.
This was IMO, of course.

GTA IV driving is great. You can feel the weight of the car when it slides in high speed turns.
