[Information] GTA V Delayed To April 14th

GTAV for PC will be arriving on April 14th at retail and as a digital download. Our apologies to PC gamers worldwide who have been counting down the days until the launch of the game, but a bit more time is needed to ensure that the game is as polished as possible, and to make certain that both Heists and the GTA Online experience are ready to roll out on day one for PC. As a gesture of thanks for your understanding, we will grant anyone who has pre-ordered the game an additional $200,000 in-game cash for use in GTA Online.

As always, we ask for the GTA PC community’s understanding and assistance in helping to report any concerns during the early days of launch when those inevitable initial teething issues arise on the new platform. If you do experience issues please visit Rockstar Games Support and send feedback to [e-mail] – we’ll be closely monitoring the situation and addressing any hitches as quickly as we can.

The PC version of Grand Theft Auto V is our most graphically and technically advanced version yet, fully optimized to support a broad range of current hardware (system specifications) and features a host of PC-specific enhancements including greater levels of detail, deep configuration options and ultra-high-definition support – as well as the powerful new Rockstar Editor for recording, staging and editing original custom videos.

In my opinion, there are 3 reasons, they delayed pc verion:
1. They wanna bigger profit from pre-orders.
2. They wanna release perfect, bugs-free and well optimised game.
3. They are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ with us.

C'mon, pc version is too much delayed, consoles got GTA V before.....a....1,5y ago. ITS WAY TOO MUCH TIME

Considering that the Xbox One and PS4 aren't that much more powerful than the 360 and 3, it's not surprising, all they really had to do was just crank up the settings slightly.

There's a difference between spending quality time to make a game and taking for ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ever. I would rather play the game with a few bugs that get patched as opposed to it being delayed 3 times.

The actual release date will be 7 months after what they promised (Sept 2014) so figure that out because I can't.

Stop whining and complaining about delay!

First: It's better to have a less buggy and better optimized and less rushed game! (unlike a certain @ss Creed: Unity)

Second: It's only an extra delay, not canceled!

Third: You should feel happy that it's going to be released on PC rather than never!

Ok, i get it that they delayed the game twice already to make it better for pc players. but, why couldnt they just delay it for a few months in the first time, rather than delaying again 3 weeks beofre launch?

This product has been delayed twice now and I'm simply tired of waiting. Rockstar Games claim they're using this time to "ensure that the game is as polished as possible" but let's be honest here, when was the last time Rockstar Games has released an optimized product for PC?

I truly hope, for their sake, they do not delay it again and spend the time they do have wisely.
