Switching between keyboard/mouse and gamepad in game?
Any clarification on whether this will be implemented?

I prefer using my Xbox 360 gamepad for driving games, so I like to switch from KB/M to gamepad in game when entering a vehicle.

If it's anything like GTA IV the game will switch between control schemes when you press a key or press a controller button/move the analog stick.

Most Likely, and it might even have PS4 Controller Support like FarCry 4.

"Switch from KB/M to gamepad in game when entering a vehicle". This trick make me laugh. Maybe this is not your case but for someone like me who always end up in freak servers with high ranked people, you don't have the time to switch from controller to KB or the otherwise. Sometime you have a half second to react or else you're dead. Now putting the controller on the desk and then move your hands on the keyboard this is enough time for me to kill you 3 times.

In single player mod it won't be a problem at all.

You must be really really slow if it takes you that long to put your controler down and start using your mouse and keyboard. Like really slow. So slow. Also its not like you have to switch everytime, you could just keep using the keyboard and mouse or keep using the controler.

I could kill you by using my right hand to shoot you in the face while I still hold the controler on my left hand. Its that easy.

In GTA IV you could move a joystick and you would be on controller, then move mouse and you were on keyboard and mouse, that was partial controller support, GTA V has full controller support

No, switching from KBM to controller without having to go through menus is called hot-swapping.

Full controller support means will work without a mouse and keyboard, from installation to play.

Partial controller support means it may require a keyboard and mouse from time to time, during installation or for limited interactions.

GTA V technically should say partial controller support, because you'll have to launch Rockstar Social Club and I'm pretty sure you can't sign into that with a controller.

No a game that was released on consoles way before PC will NOT have gamepad surrport.

But what I've come across is that you CAN use your controller and KBM to play Online. But the problem I have is that the keybinding are all over the place on the controller. It doesnt take the normal keybinds from the game, it uses those from whatever scripting the host has made for that server. And now im trying to find a way to rebuild the binding for the controller to make the buttons do what I want them to do on the controller and then partially use the KBM with other stuff. I want them both working on the same time but with different bindings or like the KBM should be an extended arm for the controller.
Now THAT is a problem I would like to have a solution too. There arent much about how to make that happen
