Buy Vehicles in Single Player?

Well, i have played a couple of minutes GTA V from my friend console, that's the only time i played the game since the release (I have pre oredered the game for PC) so i'm not excited about the Online, so i think i will spend more hours to the Single Player but one of the first things that i want to do is some kind of freeroam through the city with a Motorcycle in First Person but i want your answers about this question below:

Can i buy Vehicles in SP like you do in Online?

I mean, not picking and waiting a specefic vehicle from the streets, just buy it instantly and get it on your own.

You can, the phone system in the game lets you browse the internet and order vehicles from stores online. Ranging from cars, trucks, bikes, to planes, helicopters and boats! They are generally delievered to specific locations or your main characters garage. Be careful though as these vehicles aren't insured like the Online counterparts and if they are destroyed, they're gone.

You can buy vehicles, BUT it is not a smart investment, as you cannot insure it. It will despair once you die, walk away, etc. Even when you put it in you garage, if you lose it outside, you'll lose it forever. So if you going to mod a vehicle, mod the characters personal car, and which you cannot change their personal cars.

Their personal vehicles are permanent and retain all modifications and also are incredibly good vehicles. Franklin by far has the best out of all three of the protaganist vehicles but Michael and Trevor's are no push overs either.

Thanks for the answer, so you say when i buy a vehicle almost instantly i should insure it for not lose it right?, i'm just interested for buy any motorcycle (only that) and it will be delivered to my character garage added with theyr main vehicles?

No what they are saying is this.

In SP if you buy a car/bike and die, blow it up or lose it in the world it is gone for good. You can not insure a car/bike in SP mode. If you want to upgrade a car to keep for good in SP upgrade the main characters car's as they keep all upgrades and will always be in the respective garage.

Only in Online mode can you insure/track a car/bike you have bought and you can get it back if you blow it up,lose it etc via the insurance company.

you can play just multiplayer alone on a private server and insure any car you want

the fun in gta was always too destroy things and search new ones or be carefully with your garaged cars... insurance is for ♥♥♥♥♥♥ and not old school gta like

Old thread but maybe this could help some people. Sometimes cars you lose/abandon can be bought back from the LSPD car impound. But it can only store two cars at a time!
