fuel consumption and refueling?

would be great to fuel cars and bikes is spent and have to go to a gas station to refuel and if you run out of gas call the crane.
What do think?

Rockstar could implement an Update, so we would have something more in spending money.

i know i would like it(maybe along with a hunger and fatness/fitness system from gtasa) but most people would probably just find it annoying. a "hardcore" mode sure would be nice though

As for base game... who knows? Cars already leak and run out of fuel when you shoot the fuel tank, which means something similar went through the devs' heads, so it's not impossible :p

I think to do it officially rockstars would cost little work and look great, it would be very nice to see the fuel gauge down car in first person.

it would definitely add some urgency to hop into a car to escape the police only to see that it is in need of refueling asap

Well, you can shot the gas and drain a car fuel. The car engine won't work after all of the fuel is gone.

This is the closest fuel simulation present in game.

You can run out of gas if you shoot the gas tank, so it would be nice to be able to run out otherwise.

I don't think I've ever had a car long enough in GTAV to actually warrant refueling it.

If they implement Steam Workshop, this could be a possibility with a mod.

That would be very anoying, besides, players would simply jack another car if that were to happen. I almost ran out of gas in the Mojave Desert. If GTA 5 became like that, players would loose interest. Maybe as a optional mod, but not in an update.
