Cop Car Trade Prices

So just so Im understanding this right, I have to waste 3 to 4 mil to buy a cop car Im gonna use 1 time to get the trade price I for the cop car I actually want? Or is there a way I can unlock the trade price without wasting money on a cop car I do not want?

I'm going to guess that that's the only way. I'd advise saving up for the cop car that you want, because last I heard, you can't resale those.

I haven't actually bought a cop car, so this is all secondhand knowledge.

Not sure to be honest, but do you really need a cop car for the Vincent missions? Because that's how you unlock the initial option to buy a cop car in the first place (by playing his initial mission, I guess the pattern would be the same with the rest of his missions), so I guess you don't really need any cop car to play his missions to unlock trade price for the other/all the cop cars. But yea, I may be wrong.

Nope, you can drive to the target with anything you own and bail them into the van from the Bail office's garage, at which point it spawns for you after you pacify the target. You don't need any cop car for those missions.
