Will this be merged with Enhanced?
I don't see the point of having 2 versions of GTA V; I looked at the screenshots and it honestly doesn't really look better than the 2013/5 remaster.

The difference is more heavy for ray tracing and dlss implemented in it. Also have animals, versus actual online on pc, with photo missions and some new upgraded for cars. Also a new anti cheat if i not hear bad.

Edit: The screenshot is versus console because the computer not have it.

No, enhanced is a 91.69 GB separate download, it can already be preloaded

There will be Legacy version and Enhanced version. There is a hidden page for Enhanced version (ID no 3240220)

I don't have a ray tracing capable GPU and I don't really care about the online multiplayer; so only DLSS is supported, or will FSR and XeSS be too?

Yes partially I'm too broke to build my own gaming PC (as in, if I do all my savings go away), but partially I don't see ray tracing as viable enough to consider using. Until the day comes where there's no performance impact with ray tracing, and the fake frame tech is sophisticated enough that there's no ghosting nor any input lag, I'll have to pass on those gimmicks.

I definitely see potential and more than happy to use AI upscalers like DLSS and FSR (4.0); not gonna bother getting an Intel dGPU to use the AI variant of XeSS.

Technical Enhancements

Depending on hardware support, GTAV players on PC who upgrade will be able to enjoy:

Ray tracing features only available on PC such as ambient occlusion and global illumination — plus ray traced shadows and reflections first debuted on consoles

Support for AMD FSR1 and FSR3, and NVIDIA DLSS 3

Faster loading times using SSD and DirectStorage on supported devices and configurations

Enhanced support for higher resolutions, higher aspect ratios, and higher framerates

DualSense® controller support, with adaptive triggers

Enhanced audio with support for Dolby Atmos and improved fidelity of speech, cinematics, and music

Well, considering FSR 4 is still being developed then I suppose only DLSS 3 will be using AI for upscaling. DirectStorage is only for NVME SSDs; won't work on SATA SSDs which is what I have (my motherboard only supports M.2 2280 SATA and 2.5-3.5" SATA).

Because preload for next gen Enhanced Gta5 has started.
Restart steam, check your library for a banner, or 'gta 5 enhanced' or whatever.

What's in it -

I didn't have to reload Steam, but I did get a small window telling me SteamWebHelper wasn't responding so the UI was broken. I chose not to restart anything and I opened the library, which then I was greeted with that big ass banner to preload GTA V Enhanced.

I hear can disable the ray tracing and not forced to use it. Also can choose different ray tracing options.

I'm guessing you haven't had an experience before of one of your games getting a "big update" , the update being broken or really disliked for some reason, and you never have the old version to fall back on. It totally sucks when that happens. It being a different entry in Steam is far better.
