Character/Car Control Issues in GTA 5 on PC
in general, I used to play GTA 5 on my PC and on a friend's account, everything was fine. They gave me a Steam game, and then when I started playing, I saw that 5 minutes after the game, something strange was happening with the control of absolutely everything. There is some kind of delay and the character is very strangely controlled. I look at the character ahead, and then I release the key, and it still goes 2-4 seconds.

Please help((

I looked at the solution in chrome, but I only found 1 solution, and the one that didn't help me.

Solution 1:
Control Panel-keyboard and move the delay and speed sliders to the left before starting the repeat.

I hope it helps you at least.)

Who's "they"??

Did you try support at rockstar?? Not likely a problem with the steam interface.

Hi,

I think this problem probably affects a lot of people.

# set high priority for the GTA5.exe process

- Does this happen after setting high priority for the GTA5.exe process in Task Manager in Windows 10?
- Does this happen without GTA5.exe being given high priority?
- Does this issue only occur in this game, GTAV and GTA Online?

Solutions;

1. Uninstall/and reinstall

Microsoft Visual C++ 2015-2022
- vc_redist.x64
- vc_redist.x86

I find myself in this place;

Default;
C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\Launcher\Redistributables\VCRed

# After uninstalling Microsoft Visual using the Windows Control Panel, we recommend restarting your computer and then reinstalling these files. (vc_redist.x64 and x86)

((Restart your computer and check if the problem still occurs in the game))

- If so, follow the next step.

2. Key repetition rate

Registry Editor Run as administrator;

- Go to the source
Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Accessibility\Keyboard Response

Settings Quick key reading;

"Auto repeat delay"="300"
"Auto repeat frequency"="6"
"Bounce time"="0"
"Delay before acceptance" = "0"
"Flags"="59"
leave (the rest of the options) unchanged.

((Restart your computer and check if the problem still occurs in the game))

Let me know if the issue is resolved or not:cleanfloppy:
Hello, friend!

I reinstalled the game about 3 times, which didn't help me.

I was trying to run the game with high/above average priority and at an average level.

I have changed the control/graphics settings.

It didn't help(

Personally, this happens in Windows 10, GTA 5 single player and multiplayer. By the way, this applies not only
to management, but also to chat. That is, you are writing, and some nonsense is happening with the keyboard.

It seems, or your way worked, man!

I played around and everything works fine! I don't know, maybe I haven't played enough, but it works for me. Try this solution! If the problem repeats again, I will unsubscribe!

Unfortunately, I tried all the things you mentioned, and I've had no luck.
