Rockstar games activation code already in use

So I bought gta 5 on this winter sale on Steam and after I have installed the game I opened it but it showed my an activation window and a activation code was already on the entering bar I just have to press check but when I clicked the check button it was saying that its already in use and then I looked into the problem and then tried the delete local profile fix and then still it was not working. please help

Thanks for the info but i fixed it I just logged my steam in another laptop and then it gave me a different cd key when I enterd that one it worked

Cd key is the same and tied to you account permanently, it cannot be changed ever . What happened was the other pc didn't have difficulties contacting rockstar servers and it just was able to verify it.

But I used the other lap to just see the key it was pasted in my laptop that had the problem also in my laptop there was two cd keys showing but in the other one there was only one

Are you sure you used the same account and you where not logged in to a different one accidently. My key has been the same since 2015, had also a few times needing to verify it again and nothing changed.

Hi thanks for the help i have same issue i followed your steps and the issue solved and now i am getting in gta v game that says activation required

Do you have any solution leme know
