Can someone please help me? GTA V can no longer use a controller?
Hello GTA V community!
After updating the game, my controller is no longer working.
I can use it in other games.
Is it being sabotaged by the anti-cheat system?
Does anyone else have the same symptoms?

Tip: I don't have any controller control software.

I can use my controller fine. I think you need to double check the steam settings, click on GTA5 and look on the right side if Steam's controller support is turned on.

Also what controller do you have? A Xbox one or a PS/Switch one?

The controller I use is a ps4.
Is it safe to use ds4windows?

I use the Rockstar Games launcher.

What you can do, add GTA5 as a "non-steam game" to your steam library. To do that click on the top of your steam window on "Games" and then "Add a Non-Steam Game to my Library".
This doesn't move the game away from your Rockstar Launcher, all it is doing is allowing you to start it with the Steam API, which lets you use Steams Controller Support. Then you won't need DS4Windows as you can use the Steam controller support.

Edit: I think it is save to use DS4Windows, which should also work for GTA5.
