Can I get banned in GTA V if I use the mod menu offline?

Hello dear GTA V community, an anti-cheat system has now been introduced which is supposed to be quite sensitive from what I've heard. Can I be banned by the anti-cheat system if I only use the mod menu in offline mode, or does the anti-cheat system not apply there?

Open the R* launcher, log in if necessary, go to settings. Uncheck battleye.
Or put -nobattleye in the game launch options or commandline.txt

Then, there is no battleye anticheat loading or messing with storymode.

Ask google how to turn off battleye. (Mods wont work otherwise.) Edit: psykoteky told you.

Afaik, you wont be banned if you dont go online.

Get ready to troubleshoot mods though.

So, playing in invite only session with mods can get you banned ? Only story mode while offline can be played with mods ?

Free roam, public, invite only --- none of it matters... it is 'online' and bannable.

edit/below - yep, legit storymode stuff won't even let you online --- through multiple fronts of prevention.

Story mode mods don't even work in online. What people use online is cheats.

I don't really want to cheat. Just wanna use some mods with characters from other franchises

FiveM is likely what ur looking for. Half the servers come with a bunch of them to choose from.

If you really mean gtao... Its def possible. I cant point you in the right direction though.

I just thought that such mods were for Solo online session, but I see now, that I misunderstood it. And it's for Story mode and while offline, and Battle eye must be turned off.
