GTA V goes woke, removes content from game to appease woke mob

Rockstar has reportedly removed transphobic content from Grand Theft Auto Online and the Grand Theft Auto 5 remaster, including a Captain Spacetoy doll with interchangeable genitalia and "drag queens" that spawned outside a nightclub.

The change to the Captain Spacetoy doll was reported earlier this month by redditor JayProspero, who shared an image comparing images of the PlayStation 4 version of GTA Online with the E&E—expanded and enhanced—edition on PlayStation 5. The Captain Spacetoy action figure with "poseable vomit direction" remains on the wall, but the one wearing a hot pink jumper and promising "interchangeable genitalia" is clearly gone.

Kirsty Cloud, an admin at fan site GTANet, also noted on Twitter that "trans caricatures" that appeared around the Cockatoos nightclub have been removed as well. The models are still accessible in Director Mode, but their dialog options have been disabled.

Rockstar didn't comment on the reasons for the changes (or even acknowledge that they'd been made), but they come several months after Out Making Games, a UK-based advocacy group for LGBTQ+ people working in the games industry, sent an open letter to the studio calling on it "to remove transphobic elements" from the GTA remasters. OMG said the letter was prompted by a September 2021 Kotaku piece calling on Rockstar to "leave the 2013 transphobia behind."

The group thanked Rockstar for the update in a new post and acknowledged that even though the changes might seem minor, they're meaningful, and likely took a considerable amount of effort to make happen.

"Grand Theft Auto V is a wildly popular game with millions of players worldwide and this change can have a huge impact on the way that those players see trans people," Out Making Games wrote. "Thank you to everyone at Rockstar who prioritized this issue—we ourselves are game developers and understand that even small changes like this take coordinated time and effort."

Let's face it...the only way a game such as this can appease everyone is to remove "itself", not a couple selected elements of itself.
When I go down to the weightlifters on Vespucci Beach...do I commend them on their physique?? No, of course not, there is no game mechanic for doing so. Do i beat the snot out of them?? Of course i do...that's what builds MY character's strength level. That's how the game is DESIGNED whether any special interest group like's it or not...... And i don't hear the bodybuilders' special interest groups complaining, do I?? When I went down to Cuckatoos or whatever to beat on the crossdressers, or over to Vinewood to beat on the bull-♥♥♥♥♥, THEY FOUGHT BACK. Who's gonna fight their battles now?? No one, they're gone. How is that a solution??

All the trans etc groups crying about ♥♥♥♥ like this is in fact only likely to have the opposite effect and make those with negative views on them to have even more negative/extreme views on them, instead of making them change their views for better. Like crying about changing content that basically no one knew existed/was made over decade ago is gonna make them look good, oh wait, its just gonna make them look like bunch of Karen's and everyone hates Karen's

It is their right to remove content. It is your right to complain about it.... but you should question your motive to complain.

So is it not safe to say that you would not have a complaint except that someone else noticed a change, and that your own bias would urge you to complain about something that has zero bearing on your gameplay.

Would it not also be safe to assume that since you complained about something that does not readily have any effect or affectation to your game play that you are not simply complaining because you are biased?

Something to think on yes? Maybe fix yourself, you do you sort of thing and let the game developers effect changes that their bosses deem necessary to quell the complaints by a vocal group whose voice can have a greater negative affectation than your own complaint?

Edit, I should note I am defending their right to make changes, and I am not trying to shame you for your biases, I am however pointing out that the change does not have anything to do with you and like others also realize, you would not even be aware of it, but it looks bad on you to complain about it for that same reason. You certainly have a right to your opinion, and I think you should view your opinion objectively and consider your own motives before you attack the motives of people who get paid for supplying content in a game, the bottom line of which is determined by, whose voice should I respond to, those with the clout to demonize the game, or those who just play it?

for those who didn t notice or saw it before it has been erased out of the game
they were crossdressers dudes chilling out of the club near LSC ( the place where you tune your cars in downtown) they were just chilling and a pink limo was parked there , they have been erased out of the game and now the club is just another meaningless building and the pink limo isn t here anymore , they were pretty funny to observe ingame and nobody ever hated on them , while they left druged women prostitutes alone that can be killed in an alley right after they "did their job" , how is that fair ? i guess they re going to remove the prostitutes too soon .......

I am still able to go into Vanilla Unicorn, actually had like 50 lap dances there (trying to get that collectible, did not realize it was in the safe and for a mission). The pink limo still spawns, and I saw a lady with a beard (5 oclock shadow) (or a graphic error... still wearing a dress). I will try to remember to get pics and post them tomorrow. I say try as I get distracted like a cat vs a laser dot on the wall and forget everything else... like spinning the wheel.
