cant press the windows key while playing GTA 5/Online

my windows key works fine outside the game but doesn't work in the game I've checked my Rockstar launcher and the option to disable the windows key is turned off also tried other solutions i have found online but nothing seems to be working.

Yes, you are not the only one. Just one, of the lesser percentage of people that don't have the key disabled while gaming and use it... Most people curse the gods every time they randomly hit it in a game.

It broke with the last update. Can't use Snip & Sketch (Windows Key + Shift + S) for quick screen grabs anymore.

i have calculator in my taskbar pinned

i open that, then i open gta v

then when i want to use the windows key i simply tab over to my calculator lololol and then press it

further, it will work if you hit shift tab but i disabled that function because i was using tab for weapons too much, and shift for running, and it was a mess..

You can ALT + TAB out of the GTA 5 window or If you have restrict safe key on, spam shift it will pop up restrict key window which will unlock your mouse :)
