Can't play online with my brother (2x GTA 5 PC online)
I am trying to play GTA 5 Online with my brother (via the same router). Whenever he is joining my session every other player is instantly leaving the game and we are left alone (2 players) on the session.

I tried both port forwarding and triggering on TCP: 80.443 and UDP: 6672, 61455-61458 without any change.

I bought GTA 5 over Steam and he is using the DVD version, could this cause any problems for GTA online? We are both on online version 1.27.

I already read some threads about this problem on PS3, but could not find useful solution.
Do you have any advice?

same probleme
What kind of router do you have? I have a Belkin G wireless and port forwarding doesn't seem to help with NAT. Only DMZ does, but that can only be applied to one system at a time. Also, do both of your PCs have static IP addresses? because they have to in order port forwarding to work.
i have the same problem with a friend, 2 dvd versions.

Sometimes it works ...
do you have 2 separate social club accounts , is his copy pirated, and have you tried turning off social club auto log in logging out and then logging in manually
2 différent RGSC accounts, leggit copy. It works well when we are on different router, i think it's like this problem : https://forums.bistudio.com/topic/119248-two-computers-cannot-connect-to-one-server/
The problem is that you can not have two machines on the same local network running the same software using the same ports while you have ports forwarded. This is because, with ports forwarded, the router is no longer controlling which machine the data packets go to.

Unfortunately, this game recommends (requires) a more open NAT type to run properly which means either a direct connection to the Internet modem, or port forwarding if connected through a router. In either case, you will need to have two separate public IP addresses supplied by your internet provider to your household; one for each PC. Some internet modems are capable of doing this, but you would have to contact your internet provider to see if they and your (their) hardware are capable of doing this.
Thks for the explanation ;)

Our isp can't offers us multiple public IP adress, it also can't be "bridged", but i think it worked when i activated DMZ for one of our PC.

Also sometimes it worked, without touching anything.

PS: sry if my english is not so good :/
Hello, so i found on my ISP's forum that the problem came with a firmware update of the router, and they are actualy working on it.
But it last since november 2014 ><
They don't care about their customers.

Pour les français chez orange qui tomberait sur ce topic, voici la "solution" :
