Fail to connect to Rockstar services in China Mainland

After the updating,many players in China Mainland (Include me) can not connect to the Rockstar Sockal Club Services.We can not play the game Now……The offline mode semms not avaliable unless you connect to the Rockstar Services. I'm sure my Internet connection is OK.
I tried the following methods,but it is useless……
#add IP address to HOSTS file (C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc)
#VPN Connection
So what can I do?

I am having the same problem. First I could connect to singleplayer but not able to log into social. I tried some of the troubleshooting tips found online, including deleting rockstar folder in documents and then re installing the launcher. bad idea as now I cant even load single player as it thinks the game has not been activated on this computer before... :/ - SO DONT DO THIS!
I cant contact rockstar support as I need to be a member for over a month....

OK。A lot of Chinese players face the same problem.I suggest you can try some VPN Services.You need to connect to a FOREIGN VPN servces(such as US.or Japan).May be it useful for you.

Yes I'm facing completely same problem, it's terrible. I have tried a paid VPN(Astrill) but in most time it does not work. Actually I think it may not relate to VPN or GFW because it happens since updated. Should we feedback this problem to R-Star ?

That's true…… I believe there are some relation with the firewall because I find I can log in the game with VPN,but the Firewall it's preety senstitive in Chian Mainland.YOU KNOW ~

哦，忘了说，我是中国的，在上海。

同悲剧，不过用了VPN就能连上了 ，而且第二次再连不用VPN，想玩的话先用VPN登进去就好了。

Absolutely no trouble running the game before update. The very least Rockstar can do is look into the problem. Cant just asume its China. China's firewall has never interfered with any of my games before and all my others work fine.

Chinese community have saved my day. I'm currently back playing offline mode thanks to 625471211 and a vpn fix. VPN will allow you to re activate and play offline mode at the very least. I know some can get online working too, but no luck for me till now.
