"Scouting the port" stuck on taking photos

I'm stuck in the mission "scouting the port" at the point were I need to take phots of the ship. After the first photo, the game asks me to take a picture of a guard onboard. I've tried taking tens of pictures of the guards in all positions, zoom levels, etc., but the game never registers it and won't let me proceed. My character is stuck at the vantage point and can only look around or pull up the phone. I tried replaying the mission several times by reloading the game, but without result.

It's a gamebreaking bug, so any advice to get past this issue or bypass the mission is much appreciated.

I don't know if the two are related, but since the last update I had a glitch where my cell phone was showing up squeezed on screen (only about 1/3 of normal size). I fixed it by changing graphics settings to "windowed borderless mode". After that I retried the port mission and got passed taking the photos from the first try. I don't see how these two are related, but it works for me so I'm good.

Switching to windowed border less mode worked for me while stuck. Did not have to restart mission. Thank you!

Whenever your camera doesn't register or take photos for an objective, always change into 'windowed' mode to resolve. Another thing I want to note, sometimes in missions, it will glitch like the Nervous Ron mission where Ron just stands there and nothing happens (nothing progresses). In missions like these too, go into 'windowed' mode and that resolves those kind of problems too. If you come across the 'smashed' or squished camera where your camera looks like a pen and you can't read the text off of it, unplug or only select one monitor to play the game on. Two monitors causes this glitch to happen.
