I find it funny how much of a conversation is going around this subject atm.
Mostly that GTA6 is the game spearheading it.

Sure we can agree games haven't increased in price as much as other things over time, I won't argue that.

But if you seriously think i'm going to nod my head and agree that a game like GTA doesn't make enough money to the point it needs to be increased to 100 upon launch I am going to laugh hysterically right in your face..

Rockstar could give GTA6 away for free and still make millions/billions more than their development costs off the monetised online mode alone.

GTA5 made monumentally more money from it's online than it did from it's base game sales.
So no, i'm not going to just accept games at 100 dollar price points while these billionare corporations winge about their games not making enough money.

Not buying - ever. I'm done with TT and any of their brands. That's a bridge they burned and can't be rebuilt. Will they miss my money? No. But at least I won't be contributing to the problem any longer.

But yeah, I ain't buying games without discounts, I got burned on that already. It's way too hard to get refund. If they want to increase price, than they should give better warranty and better refund agreements.

My interest in GTA 6 is sitting at a solid 0.000000000000000000000001% out of 100%. At this point it's basically just mild curiosity as to how badly they f***ed it up.

I have already made up my mind that if I decide that I ever want GTA 6, I will be obtaining it in a way that will guarantee that Rockstar and TakeTwo will not see a single penny from the sale.

Few game companies deserve to go bankrupt and cease to exist more than Rockstar/TakeTwo. If GTA 6 and RDR 2 were the last games they ever made it would not be a bad thing.
