Online fkn infested with cheaters
Even with Battleye this game is unplayable, every single lobby there is at least 1 cheater that kicks you just by joining the game.

What do you propose then in peer2peer gaming against cheaters ?

Pretty sure the devs realized just banning everyone who mods / cheats isn't going to help their business at this point. I know a guy who was modding for over a year, doing the casino hack, making billions and never got banned. He just checked his account the other day, still not banned. I think at this point they are just happy people are still playing, and some are still spending.

There is no logic here. From they perspective he has already bought the game, he will not buy shark cards eigher, becouse he is cheating on cash. Others say, they are no fighting cheating becouse after ban, a player will buy another game copy.

Personally I think those both statements are false, becouse cheaters in game make other people less likely to play a game. They should have their own servers and sell some premium vehicles, only for real cash like in other games, having all the resources to fight with cheating and have steady income to pay for those servers.

When somebody will pay ex. 50 USD or more for Oppressor alone he will be not so much into cheating any more. I have spent at least 2000 USD for World of Warships and I never even thought about cheating, because the risk was too high. So the other players. Anyway, the only cheat avaiable in this game was aimbot as an overlay for the game. There was no possiblity to change stats, cash, teleport, god mode etc., becouse they had they own game servers.

Then why are the ban waves stopping?

The same thing the menu makers do. Half of the menus are made by 1 or 2 guys. How are they able to block things based on if the scenario is valid? DO THAT lol.

I suggest they hire 2 people and actively patch their game lol.

Without constant monitoring it will be lost game. I don't understand how those working in BE, can't just subscribe for all avaiable menus and analyse how to detect them with every change. Those mod makers can't stand a chance then.

Not really. Half of these malicious features are a decade old at this point.

How do mod menu makers with 2 devs do it?

For sure those loopholes are old, but patching them will be cracked anyway, becuse source code is on your computer and you or anybody else is hosting a game. Anyway how do you will know that somebody is ex. spawning something into world ? I think is much easier is to detect those menus in memory or access into forbidden functions in game memory. Ex. World of Warships which I have played don't have such loopholes, but still use their own BE like system to monitor if somebody is not using something which is forbidden. Ex. game overlays only can be detected by external program. This war could be won on many fronts.

1. By scanning servers statistics ex. somebody got too much of cash from something, killed entire lobby in the same time in different places etc.
2. By workers playing himself and watching.
3. By game reporting itself that something is wrong.
4. By monitoring program of running processes

Then cheaters will don't know what is hitting them. As developer you can just terrorise them if you want, but it looks like they don't want to do that properly. If they care about every customer they can not to ban people, but send them to cheaters only lobbies (like bad sport) instead.

Oh really??!! I just checked and I am still totally blacklisted for not doing an F'n thing wrong, and then calling them out on it. The ban wave will happen for you and your friend, just keep playing until it does.

You are right. Every check system can be false positive or somebody can frame you. Knowing that they should not just ban forever, but at most, temporarily suspend game account.

I personally don't care about the game, and this is where they misjudge myself and others like me. I don't care about the ban. They stole my progress, including the cash, and for that they can go f*ck themselves if they think they will ever get the opportunity to do it again, and I do mean on ANY game they make, or have made. I'm absolutely done with all Rockstar and Take-Two Interactive titles, and I will absolutely smear their lousy names any place i can. I could not give a crap about looking like someone with a bad attitude. They'll never get another nickel from me.

IF everyone here really wants to know....
I bought GTAV the day it was released and it didn't play because there was an issue with the very first server. It took 3 days before the game actually populated. Not really that important but it happened!!
Next.. I ranked up. it only took 9 months and everyday playing every mission and race and feature the game offered to gain $$$ .. because I'd be damned if I EVER paid a game company MORE money just to play the game I already payed for. (They got you fooled though)
So, in GTA IV,... 2010 a guy named "BradyMac666" fingered out how to make a car go 9999mph
with 9999% forced gravity. :steamlaughcry:
Then came the rocket gun and the flying car and on and on....
BUT...... when Rockstar games banned my account of 12yrs with ALL the achievements earned simply because folks like you,.. had contacted them to ask them to DEAL WITH MODDERS in GTAV.... ROCKSTAR checked everyone's account... and banned all accounts with ANY alterations.
So what did modders do?
They simply created a function in the script manager that allows them to ADD funds to other players accounts,... thus getting 1/3 of ALL GTAV players BANNED. That when I said I f I can't beat them... join them. And I became a modder, and MAN... it was fun!

You see kids... I'm 61, and I've seen game Devs go from wonderfully generous, fun loving coders and creators, to a generation of fascist capitalists who provide as little as possible for as much as possible, not to mention the DLC and early access that never quite adds up to the cost. (and WTF is EARLY ACCESS anyway?,.. beside making $ off a "promise" to finish something you already got paid for,... so why finish?

So I have no problem with modding but I do have an issue with lack of moderation in modding.
FACT; "Game crashing" and "De-ranking" retail players "KILLED" GTA and it was Rockstars own fault for expecting kids and teens to "PAY2PLAY" a game that was always free of in-game currency.

Dump P2P and give the game proper servers for online play. Oh wait, R* would never spend money like that... probably not even money from sales of GTA:VI when that time comes.
