Questions about Cayo Perico

Is it worth it to invest as soon as possible into the submarine (I only have 2 businesses and 1.4 million) or invest in things like the agency and nightclub first?

How long does it take you to do it solo, and does the cooldown start upon completion or upon accepting the first setup mission?

How many times are you able to do it in one day? I'm mainly curious if the cooldown timer continues even when the game isn't running.

Too many newbies thinking way too hard. They've screwed it up so you con't do it too often, but that would ruin it anyway, so in a way, they are right to do so.
Once you've done the Cayo preps...what is there six, then the finally only takes a little over 12 minutes to complete and get back to civilization. But trust me, you'll be a much happier player if you just screw around and grind whatever is available at any given moment. The riches will come, believe me I know.

Try contact missions, solo and with friends, do VIP and CEO work and volunteer to bodyguard your friends. Way more fun than grinding only one thing.

2hr 25minish cooldown solo. Starts on completing. like other heists it's IRL time.

You can run it on both toons, so make sure you start it on 2nd one before finishing the first one if you want to semialternate. Once you get first few playthroughs shouldn't take more than 45 min total from start->finish.

I do longfin, seems to be fastest, get secondary first at airstrip then when you get primary just swim out west.

Assuming I don't have any friends that like to play GTA Online? What's the best money making method out of these solo? That's why I was interested in the heist because it can be done solo, even with the cooldown about 3 times a day meaning around $3.2 million a day for apparently little effort.

If you play solo then cayo is still your best bet even with a 3 hour cooldown

If you play solo then cayo is still your best bet even with a 3 hour cooldown

And you can easily make another 1 million with DrDre in that same cooldown period (along with many other $$ things) .

Cayo pays for itself in like 2 runs if you do it with others and all get full bags
Doing it solo is pretty bad unless you get full bag to but its harder and longer if you try
